The Computational Molecular Sciences & Engineering Symposium aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among molecular simulation and scientific computing research groups within the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS) and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). This initiative marks the first concerted effort within Yale SEAS to bridge theoretical and computational research efforts across various departments, promoting a multidisciplinary dialogue and enhancing the learning environment for students and faculty alike. The focus of the research talks in CMSE includes but is not limited to:
- Quantum Mechanical Calculations,
- Statistical Thermodynamics & Molecular Simulations,
- Computational Fluid Dynamics,
- Numerical Modeling,
- Statistical Inference,
- Machine Learning in Molecular Sciences,
- Multiscale Modeling, etc.
